Since the 3rd of this month, I have been working on the first installment of my LGBTQ+ Crimeverse series. The details of the series I’m still keeping to myself as I’m still ironing out all the logistics around the series. You know, how many series are going to take up this universe, the models, the photographers, ghostwriters (if necessary), among other things. But, right now, I’m grinning ear-to-ear.
progress
I have to say…Phase Two is going pretty smooth. Much smoother than Phase One, let me tell you. However, I wanted to tell you that everybody is already well aware of my path of my Short Story project so I’m not going to talk about it anymore until the first story is released. Besides, I do have other projects that I’m working on now that I got my short stories written.
Hey everybody,
I just want to make a quick announcement that my website is being redesigned. So! Don’t be surprised that the extreme beautiful changes that you’ll see at the end of the month. The web designer that I hired has proven to be quite the artist and I have absolute faith in his ability to impress you all. I can’t wait to show you all.
Now, please, don’t forget to follow me on my social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, and Goodreads) which are on the right side of my web page. Also, I do love hearing suggestions of what books to read outside of my norm (Science fiction and Fantasy) as I am a part of the Goodreads’ reading challenge for 2020. My goal is to read 103 books this year and I’ve completed that goal. However, I’m far from done with the challenge and I’m probably end up reading 120 before the year is out.
My brother and I have been talking about my writing and compared me to a particular unsung Founding Father. I found it flattering but inaccurate. See, contrary to his popular belief of me, I do take breaks, especially after my mental exhaustion. But, he did make one thing clear. I do, in fact, work like I’m “running out of time”.
I am a very lucky man. Well, more blessed than lucky, really. I got to have a small sitdown with Paul Charles aka The Gay Comic Geek. We are both very busy men so I was honoured to have him take a few moments out of his schedule to talk to me about his pride experience and such. I focused specifically on pride questions because I’ve been following his career path for a bit so I’m already aware of his childhood and such from interview. Now, without further ado…
My brother has been checking up on me ever since I moved to China. And ever since both of us have been dealing with the COVID-19, we’ve been checking in with each other almost daily. And last week was no different especially given the recent development around the world.
This coronavirus is no joke. Let me tell you…
I haven’t been infected, thank God. However, it is affecting me because I can’t work and, since I’m an educator, my whereabouts are being monitored by my principal to a certain degree. And this had led me to come interesting ordeals.
NYCC is next week and I can’t wait to spread my nerd wings for numerous reasons. One, it’s going to be my last NYCC for a good while because of my future employment in China. Two, to meet all my NYC/NYCC friends so I can tell them the good news. And three – most importantly of all, I can’t wait to see all the goodies that I will be acquiring for my friends. But that’s not the only thing that I’m antsy about…
